This game is made in Shanghai. It’s definitely derived from the Japanese game of the same theme, Kantai Collection, but even Japanese are into Azur Lane.

That’s 旅かえる (Travel Frog). When the game was entirely in Japanese, it became number one in China for weeks. Yes Chinese can read kanji, but the context has differences, so despite the hurdle of being in a foreign language Chinese went out of their way to play this Japanese game.
